Q: Who Founded Top Notch Nannies?
A: About me, my name is Robin Sedillo, and I am the founder of Top Notch Nannies. I have three amazing children of my own, and have been blessed to be in the childcare field for over 13 years.I have had the opportunity to work with children in both professional and home settings. Over the years I have cared for numerous families and have gained a clear sense of what it means to be a nanny. Top Notch Nannies has been a dream of mine for years, and I'm so proud to see it become a reality.
Q: Why should I choose Top Notch Nannies?
A: At Top Notch Nannies we understand that you have many options when it comes to choosing childcare. We are honored that you have considered us! Top Notch Nannies understands the complexity of finding, affordable, reliable, and quality childcare. We treat every family we work with as an individual and work hard to exceed your exceptions. We take the extra steps to ensure that we only present you with options that meet ALL your needs.
Q: What is your screening process?
A: When it comes to recruiting new nannies we are very selective. Only 10% of the nannies we interview are offered the opportunity to contract with us. Each individual on our registry is CPR and first aid certified, has a no criminal background, and has been carefully screened. Not only do we require a strong background in childcare, we require a strong love and passion for working with children. As the owner, I personally meet each candidate, face to face, to conduct an interview. I personally check references, verify experience, identity, and criminal history. We only work with the best of the best!
Q: Does Top Notch Nannies promote the use of nanny cams?
A: Yes, we do! We believe that parents have the right to ensure that their children are cared for properly, by whatever means necessary. We are confident that our nannies are well qualified and professional, so we are never opposed to nanny cams.
Q: Can I interview a nanny before I hire them?
A: For full time and part time nanny placement, you may interview multiple nannies, until you find the one that is perfect for your family. For occasional nannies we have your contracted nanny call you 24 hours prior to your appointment to introduce themselves and answer any questions you may have. Due to our temporary nanny's busy schedules, we will require 48 hours notice if you would like to meet them in person before your appointment.

Top Notch Nannies is a professional nanny referral agency. We carefully screen nannies and have very strict requirements for nannies who are on our registry. We do not employ the nannies - they are independent contractors who are employed by and paid directly by our clients.
When I found out that Robin was moving back to Colorado and would no longer be caring for my son I was devastated. The only thing that made me sleep better at night was her ability to find me an amazing alternative to her. Although I don't think anyone could fill her shoes, she found me a great lady who I am confident will take wonderful care of my son. The love she has in her heart for children is astonishing. With that being said I would trust her judgment wholeheartedly. We will miss you and pray that you come back soon.

Robin watched our son from when he was 5 months through 14 months... I wish we had her in our lives longer! She is full of energy and love - which is not only evident in her own children, but in our son every time we dropped him off and picked him up. We were so sad when she moved back to CO, we still are! I have had the opportunity to talk to Robin about her dream of opening Top Notch Nannies. I was always to touched by the passion with which she spoke about her new business. About 2 months ago I called Top Notch Nannies looking for a fulltime nanny. This was the first time I had ever contacted a nanny agency, or looked for anyone outside of my family to care for my children. I had gone through a few other childcare sites with no luck and I had heard this ad on the radio. When I called I immediately was at ease. They were so friendly and helpful and understood how nerve racking this whole process was. It only took one interview with one nanny and I was thrilled. Since then our nanny has become like family. She is amazing with the children and is everything and more that I was promised. I still receive phone calls and emails from the agency just to check on things and make sure we are happy.
